About the workshop
Vedic Hearth sells hand-hammered brass cookware made in small batches in India. This page says who does that and what we will not claim.
Why the batches stay small
Hammering is slow, and a person does it. A batch is finished when it is finished, so pieces sell out and come back rather than sitting in a warehouse waiting for a sale. The price is the same every day of the year. Nobody who bought last month paid too much.
What we will not claim
Brass cookware is sold in India with a lot of health language attached to it — immunity, antimicrobial action, mineral leaching as a benefit. We do not repeat any of it, because we cannot show you the study that would make it true. What we will say is what the metal actually does: it heats evenly, it takes a kalai lining that can be renewed, and it lasts long enough to be handed on.
How to reach a person
The enquiry form reaches us directly and one person answers it. Delivery and returns are set out on their own page; the journal is at /blog.
